A low poly player model in a hand painted style, created for the Rogue character in a top down fantasy style strategy game on mobile or PC. This is being developed with a programmer in Japan.
This involved extended testing of colour palettes and textures to work inside a rapidly changing game environment. The design of the dagger deliberately contrasts against the sword and staff players, which all have differing game capabilities.
One of the key aims in this game is to have an intuitive feel, yet set apart by the visual styling and identity.
